AFINAL, O QUE ACONTECEU COM A DESIGUALDADE NO IMPOSTO DE RENDA?

Resumo: Este artigo avalia os registros administrativos do imposto de renda e a combinação deles com pesquisas domiciliares em termos de crescimento, desigualdade e bem-estar social no Brasil, entre 2007 e 2015. Este último exercício guarda a promessa de adicionar às pesquisas domiciliares valores mais realistas do topo da distribuição de renda. Enquanto a literatura acerca do tema focou nos impactos da combinação destas bases de dados sobre a desigualdade de renda, este artigo avalia suas implicações cumulativas sobre bem-estar.
